How Harbor works

Harbor takes a brand from “who do we want to reach” to a live, paid post inside a trusted community, in one rail: discover, agree, fund escrow, deliver, release. Contact details never change hands. Money only moves when the work is done.

For brands

Describe who you want to reach

Type it the way you’d say it: “new-parent communities in the US, big and engaged.” Harbor searches its vetted supply of Facebook Groups, Discord servers, and WhatsApp communities and returns a short, ranked shortlist with a written rationale. Every count is labeled verified or self-reported. Every badge is backed by a real check.

Agree terms in the Deal Room

Make an offer on a community, or invite it to a campaign. The admin counters or accepts. One Deal Room holds the whole negotiation, both seats, every figure. No emails, no DMs, no chasing.

Fund escrow

On acceptance, the brand funds the agreed amount plus a 5% brand fee. Harbor holds it. The admin sees the money is real before posting a word.

Approve the proof

The admin posts and uploads proof of the placement. The brand reviews and approves. If the brand goes quiet, a grace window releases the funds automatically. Disputes freeze the money until a Harbor official resolves them.

Money releases

The creator receives the agreed amount minus a 10% creator fee. Every figure was visible to both sides from the start. Worked example: agreed $700, brand pays $735, creator receives $630, Harbor keeps $105.

For community managers

Claim your community

Harbor has already listed thousands of communities. Find yours, claim it, and prove you run it. Verification is a real check by Harbor, not a rubber stamp, and it earns the badges brands filter by.

Set your rates

Fill in your media kit and set a rate card with Harbor’s suggested ranges. You stay in control of what runs in your community, always.

Approve offers and get paid

Offers come to you. Accept the ones that fit. The money is already in escrow before you post. Deliver proof, and the funds release to your account.

What makes this different

Marketplaces for influencers rent you a face. Harbor gets your brand inside the room: gated communities with real membership, real engagement, and an admin the members already trust. And because contact never leaves Harbor and money sits in escrow, neither side can be ghosted, scraped, or stiffed.

Questions admins ask

How do community admins make money on Harbor?

You claim your community's listing, verify you run it, and set your rates. Brands send offers. You approve only what fits your community, post it yourself, and get paid from escrow. Harbor is free for admins; 10% comes off only when you're paid.

Will this spam my group?

No. Brands never get posting access to your community. You post, and only for deals you accepted. Nothing runs without your explicit approval.

What if a brand doesn't pay?

They already did. The brand funds escrow before you post. Delivery and approval release the money to you. If a brand goes quiet after you deliver, an automatic grace window releases it anyway.

How much work is it?

About three minutes to claim and verify. After that, offers come to you, and each deal is a short negotiation in one Deal Room: accept, post, upload proof, get paid.
