Harbor (harborinfluence.com) is operated by Red Rabbit Management LLC ("Harbor," "we," "us," "our"). Harbor is a marketplace where brands discover, negotiate with, and pay the managers of online communities such as Facebook Groups, Discord servers, and WhatsApp groups.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our platform, and the emails we send. By using Harbor, you agree to this policy.
Questions? Email support@harborinfluence.com or write to Red Rabbit Management LLC, 851 NE 1st Avenue, Miami, FL 33132.
The short version
We collect the information you give us (account, listings, messages, deal records, verification screenshots), information collected automatically (device, usage, cookies), and public information about communities to build our directory. We use it to run the marketplace, keep it safe, and improve it. We share it with the service providers that power Harbor, and with your counterparty when you enter a deal. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. You can access, correct, or delete your data, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. Harbor is for adults 18 and over.
1. Information you provide to us
Account and profile. Name, email address, and login credentials (authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk), organization name and role, profile details, and photos or logos you upload.
Community listings. Information about communities you manage: name, platform, topic, size, engagement details, pricing, and contact information.
Verification materials. Screenshots and other evidence you submit to verify ownership of a community or to prove a promotion ran (proof of performance). Do not include community members' personal information in these uploads. Names, faces, and handles of members must be redacted before submission; we may reject or delete uploads that contain them.
Messages and deal records. Messages you exchange with other users on Harbor, offers, deal terms, deliverables, disputes, and reviews.
Payment and payout information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment card or bank details and, for community managers receiving payouts, identity and tax information required by law. We receive transaction records and status, but we never store full card or bank account numbers on our systems. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Support and correspondence. Anything you send us by email, form, or chat.
2. Information we collect automatically
When you use Harbor we collect device and browser type, IP address, general location derived from IP (city/region level), pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, session information, and error and diagnostic data. We collect some of this through cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Notice. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error monitoring.
3. Information from other sources
Public community information. To build the Harbor directory, we collect publicly available information about online communities and their administrators: community name, platform, topic, approximate size, and publicly posted contact information. We use this to create unclaimed listings and to invite administrators to join Harbor. If you manage a community and want your unclaimed listing corrected or removed, email support@harborinfluence.com and we will handle it promptly.
Service providers. We receive information from providers such as Stripe (payment and verification status) and Clerk (sign-in events and security signals).
4. How we use information
We use personal information to: provide and operate the marketplace (accounts, listings, search, messaging, deals, payments, and payouts); verify community ownership and the accuracy of audience and performance claims; detect and prevent fraud, fake engagement, spam, and abuse; provide customer support; send service communications (receipts, deal updates, security notices); send marketing communications you can opt out of at any time; understand how Harbor is used and improve it; enforce our Terms of Service and other policies; and comply with law, including tax and accounting obligations.
If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (such as the EEA or UK), our bases are: performance of a contract (running the marketplace for you), legitimate interests (safety, fraud prevention, improvement, directory of public information), consent where required (marketing), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, lawful requests).
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
With other users, to run deals. When you enter or discuss a deal, the counterparty sees the information needed to transact: your profile, listing details, messages, deal terms, deliverables, and proofs. Contact details are revealed only as the product's gating allows.
With service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, limited to providing their service to us: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments and payouts), Vercel (web hosting), Render (API hosting), our managed database provider, cloud file storage for uploads, PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Resend (email delivery). We keep a current list; email support@harborinfluence.com to request it.
For legal and safety reasons. To comply with law or valid legal process; to enforce our terms; to protect the rights, safety, and property of Harbor, our users, or the public; and to detect and prevent fraud or security issues.
In a corporate transaction. If Harbor or Red Rabbit Management LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you (for example, marketplace statistics) may be used and shared freely.
6. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live in the United States, we extend the same rights:
- Access / know — get a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct — fix inaccurate information.
- Delete — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep (for example, completed transaction records for tax and audit purposes).
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or email us. Service emails (receipts, deal notices, security) continue while you have an account.
- Opt out of "sale"/"sharing"/targeted advertising — we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out first.
How to exercise rights: email support@harborinfluence.com from the email on your account, or use your account settings. We verify requests using your account email and respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where the law allows; we will tell you if so). An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization.
Appeals: if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. A different reviewer will decide within 45 days and explain the outcome. Depending on your state, you may also contact your state Attorney General.
Global Privacy Control: we treat a GPC signal from your browser as an opt-out of non-essential analytics and any future "sharing" for that browser.
No discrimination: we will not deny service, change prices, or degrade quality because you exercised a privacy right.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you additionally have the rights to object, to restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Harbor is directed to the United States and hosted there.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and profile data for as long as your account is active and for a short period after closure; deal, transaction, and payout records for at least 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and audit obligations; messages and deal-room content while relevant to an active or disputed deal and per our backup cycle; verification and proof uploads while the related listing or deal needs them; and logs and analytics on rolling schedules. When information is no longer needed we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, least-privilege permissions, audit logging of administrative actions, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
You are responsible for keeping your own credentials and devices secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harbor is not liable for losses — including monetary losses — caused by cybersecurity incidents such as unauthorized account access, phishing, credential theft, or security breaches at third-party providers, as described further in our Terms of Service (Section 13). Nothing in this paragraph limits our breach-notification obligations or any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
9. Children
Harbor is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email support@harborinfluence.com and we will delete it.
10. International visitors
Harbor is operated from the United States and our providers store data in the United States. If you access Harbor from outside the US, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
11. Notice at Collection (California)
Categories collected: identifiers (name, email, IP); commercial information (deals, transactions); internet activity (pages, clicks, device data); professional information (organization, role); audio/visual (photos, screenshots you upload); inferences limited to product analytics. Sources: you, your devices, public sources, our service providers. Purposes: as described in Section 4. Sold or shared for targeted advertising: No. Sensitive personal information: login credentials (handled by Clerk) used only to authenticate you; we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. Retention: per Section 7.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date above. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
